Detailed Golden Triangle with Mandawa & Varansasi Tour Itinerary

Day 01 - Arrival in Delhi

On Day 1, you will arrive in Delhi, where you'll transfer to your hotel and check in. The evening is yours to relax or explore local markets around Connaught Place. You’ll spend the night in Delhi.

Day 02 - Explore Delhi

Day 2, begin your exploration of Delhi with visits to Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and Humayun’s Tomb, the inspiration for the Taj Mahal. In the afternoon, visit India Gate and drive past Rashtrapati Bhavan, before immersing yourself in the bustling Chandni Chowk area, where you can visit Jama Masjid and view the Red Fort from the outside. In the evening, savor local cuisine at a traditional Delhi restaurant before returning to your hotel for the night.

Day 03 - Delhi to Mandawa (Approx. 6 Hours)

On Day 3, you'll embark on a drive to Mandawa in the Shekhawati region, taking approximately six hours. After checking in at your hotel, spend the evening exploring the famous Mandawa Havelis, known for their beautiful frescoes and intricate artwork. You’ll stay overnight at a heritage hotel in Mandawa.

Day 04 - Mandawa to Jaipur (Approx. 4 Hours)

Day 4 involves a morning departure for Jaipur, where you will check into your hotel upon arrival. In the evening, visit the City Palace and Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory, before settling in for the night in Jaipur.

Day 05 - Explore Jaipur

Day 5 will be dedicated to exploring Jaipur. Start with a visit to Amber Fort, where you can enjoy a jeep ride up to the fort and explore its majestic courtyards. Don’t forget to stop by the iconic Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) for a photo opportunity. In the afternoon, visit the Albert Hall Museum and explore the vibrant local bazaars for souvenirs. The evening is yours to relax or partake in an optional traditional Rajasthani cultural performance with dinner. You will spend another night in Jaipur.

Day 06 - Jaipur – Abhaneri – Agra (Approx. 5-6 Hours)

On Day 6, you will drive to Agra, with a stop at Abhaneri to see the spectacular Chand Baori stepwell. After checking into your hotel in Agra, visit the Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later, experience the breathtaking beauty of the Taj Mahal at sunset. You’ll stay overnight in Agra.

Day 07 - Agra to Varanasi (Vande Bharat Train)

On Day 7, you'll board the Vande Bharat Express at 6 AM to Varanasi. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the evening at your leisure, perhaps sampling delicious Varanasi Chat. You will spend the night in Varanasi.

Day 08 - Explore Varanasi

Day 8 starts early with a boat ride on the Ganges River to witness the sacred rituals and sunrise. In the afternoon, visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Banaras Hindu University, and the famous Sarnath Stupa. The evening will be highlighted by the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti on the ghats. You’ll stay overnight in Varanasi.

Day 09 - Varanasi to Delhi (Flight)

Finally, on Day 9, you will have some free time in Varanasi before transferring to the airport for a flight back to Delhi. Arriving in Delhi, you can either head to your hotel or continue your onward travel.
